Directions
Important Surface Prep Information: Make sure surface is clean and dry. Wipe away sand and dust with damp cloth. Repair underside of fabrics when practical.
For Pinholes:
Dab Sil Fix over hole and 1⁄4 “ (5mm) beyond to seal and stop fabric unraveling.
For Larger Damaged Areas:
Note: Sil Fix will continue to strengthen after curing.
Re-Attaching Guy Out Points:
Tip: For even stronger repairs, wait one hour after step 2 and then stitch down edges of webbing. Then proceed to steps 3 and 4.
Seams:
Apply Sil Fix to stop seams from separating. Note: For even more strength, allow Sil Fix to dry for 1 hour then add stitches along seam.
Abrasion Areas:
Apply Sil Fix to high wear areas. Smooth to thin even layer with patch backing. Sil Fix can also be used to attach a repair swatch of sil-nylon fabric over damaged area.
