Flammable Goods
All flammable items must be shipped FedEx Ground. Flammable items WILL not be shipped internationally.
Lost or Damaged Shipments - Domestic
Orders sent via the United States Postal Service (USPS)
Delivery Confirmation does NOT include tracking of the package en route. If an acceptance scan appears for several days, it simply means the item is en route and a delivery attempt has not yet been made. A scan indicating the order was “Delivered” does not mean that the order was delivered to your door, but that the order was delivered to your local post office. If you do not receive the order at your shipping address within a few days of it being marked “Delivered,” go to your local post office with the delivery confirmation number. They may be able to locate it on-site.

Orders sent via the United States Postal Service (USPS)
We cannot offer tracking nor insurance for this option, and should you choose it, there is absolutely nothing anybody except YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE can do to locate your order once it leaves our warehouse. Therefore, we bear no responsibility should it be lost. Without tracking or insurance, the USPS will not accept responsibility either, and lost shipment disputes MUST BE HANDLED EXCLUSIVELY WITH YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE.

Track your order online through the My Account page. If you order has not been delivered after two to three weeks (longer in some countries), call 800-222-1811 to initiate an inquiry. If your inquiry of damage or loss is confirmed by the USPS, an information packet with a claim PS Form 2855 will be mailed to you.
To file a claim, send in a completed PS Form 2855. Claims must be accompanied by evidence of mailing, evidence of value and any other documentation to support the claim. You, as the customer, have a right to refund with the USPS – we do not have the right to act on your behalf, and BACKPACKING LIGHT BEARS NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER FOR LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS SENT VIA ANY SHIPPING METHOD, INCLUDING EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL.
