What measures do you take to ensure credit card security and minimize fraud?

We take credit card security very seriously.

We require validation of credit card billing address, billing zip code, and credit card security code (CSC) numbers prior to processing and shipping an order, and have developed custom fraud detection software based on the Address Verification System (AVS) that informs our order fulfillment center immediately if an order is flagged as "high risk for fraud". In such cases, we will contact the credit card holder and may ask them to fax, email, or mail us scans or copies of the front and back of the credit card, in addition to photo identification such as a driver's license, before we will process the order. In some cases, we may require that your order be shipped to the billing address. If your transaction is flagged as high risk, we may require that you provide us with an email address from a domain belonging to an entity where your identity can be validated.

For international orders, we may require that you submit the contact information for the issuing bank of your credit card so we can validate your account by phone.
