Hydropel is a dimethicone-based skin lubricant used to prevent blisters, chafing, and chapping of skin in extreme environments.

• Use in cold, dry, or windy environments to prevent chapping of face and hands
• Use in hot or wet conditions to prevent chafing of thighs or blisters on feet

Hydropel vs. Sportslick

Hydropel tends to be more resilient (less reapplication needed) than Sportslick, and thus, is more lubricating in wet conditions. Sportslick, however, contains antifungal and antibacterial agents, making it better for thigh chafing. Sportslick also comes in a stick form and offers a bit o' SPF, so it's a good gig for the back of your hands, face, and lips.
