The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center is one of North America's leading centers for avalanche education. Located in the heart of Southwest Montana, it's also one of the busiest.
The GNFAC was instrumental in bringing the movie A Dozen More Turns, a story about the avalanche that killed Backpacking Light Section Editor Blake Morstad in 2005, to reality at a low cost so we can maximize its distribution.
Your contribution to the GNFAC is a 501(c)(3) donation, and will be made on your behalf to the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center.
