There are rumours that roads into the Geysers region are closed and hikers have been told to stay away. And that a road is melting.

Anyone got any reliable info?

On TV ranger said it was normal. You could see surface of road was effected but no big deal.

No super-eruption just yet

Thank's Doug. Hot weather at this time of year in Yellowstone anyway. So it wouldn't take a big change in geothermal activity to get the paveent sticky I guess.

Jerry, my latest carbon flame war response has been in place for a while... :-)
