With all that we've invested in our gear, none of us want to accidentally leave a pack somewhere with no way of getting back to us. Sometimes we might have permits inside that might help a good samaritan find the owner, but not always, and I like to keep my ID on my person at all times. I thought about putting a standard luggage tag on there, but most of them seemed either not very durable or waterproof, overly heavy, or too small for a potential do-gooder to find easily.
Then I had a thought. What if something like this custom-engraved acrylic tag could be multi-purposed? Could I then justify its place in my pack?
For starters, it could work as a pot scraper. Does anybody have other ideas?
