BUG in Firefox, the "do not display avatars" check box no longer works. It used to immediately remove the avatars, now it has no effect (at least for me on Firefox 2.0.0.6.

IE7 also fails the same way as Firefox.

Yep, your correct IE7 does not remove the avatars.
