I think Bob should buy a round of drinks for the house.

Dedication.

p.s. Of course Ken has nearly 7,500 posts but he A) has a couple more years in the game, and B) will invariably mention the GGG coordination effort.

I think I have the perfect amount of BPL posts.

Enough for ultralight credibility, yet few enough to seem cool and slightly disinterested.

Anyone with more posts than me obviously has nothing better to do. Cyber backpackers.
Those with fewer, however, are suspect. UL posers.

"It was only 2.5 years ago".

Yes.
You have 6 months on me on BPL Dave....you have seniority, which in some ( your ?) circles trumps all ;).

Bob G. Has come to my house! The only other BPL person to do so has been my buddy Joshua Billings.

The Bob Gross is a rare animal native to the Silicon Valley area, you should have had a game camera up to capture a picture of the illusive creature.

I've met Bob and hiked with him, the man can hike!, and he knows his stuff, and can out hike most people half his age.

I know I can't hang with him, and I'm probably 12-15 years younger then him.

The reason you never see the mysterious Bob, is because he's hiking way ahead of everyone. LOL

I'm at 1653 WOOWHOO!!!

That is me on the right that Ken posted.....Bob did a trip in SEKI with us a few years ago. He was great to hike with and was very enjoyable. The initial post about Bob I find a tad snarky.

And Jack is right, Bob can easily out hike most at half his age.
