Measuring from the highest point on the shoulder straps to the middle of the hip belt is 18 inches. Top of the back panel to the bottom of the pack is a little over 21 inches. The pack is about 23 inches deep, with a 6 inch extension collar.

I am 5' 8", 145 lbs, 30 inch waist, and this pack fit me quite well. The hip belt had a bit more adjustment left on the lower end, plenty for a larger waist size.
