In the words of First Lieutenant John J. Dunbar.... "Good Trade"... I have the following up for trade:

Cordage, Cordage, Cordage, Cordage, Cordage and more Cordage. Why is it everybody that owns online gear stores sends me free cordage to try... I could circle the moon with all this stuff.

Vibram FiveFingers Spyridon LS Trail-Running Shoes - Men's MILITARY GREEN/GREY/BLACK Size: 43 (somewhat used... maybe 50 miles)

MacBook Air, 11-inch Mid 2011. 1.6Ghz i5, 4GB DDR3 (running 10.9.1)

MBD SquirrelCage (have two of them.. both need new carbon felt)

Icebreaker Bodyfit 150 bottoms, Large (wore once, did not like the fit)

A guided hike through the Redwoods :-D

Stuff I am interested in:

I need a few stakes... nothing hercules though... kinda like those lawson ones with the deeper curve.

I need a original iPad cable with the 32 pin connector... gave mine away thinking I would never need it, and now I need another one. D'Oh!

HMG UltraMid 4 or 6

GoLite Shangri-La 5 Tent

Seekoutside XL Ti Wood stove

Fourdog Two Dog DX Camp Stove

Mountain House food. Anything but that nasty nasa icecream stuff.

Hydropel. Full containers, half-full, I do not really care. Damn the French!!

Due to my proximity to Hanford and as a result, my growing feet, I have a pair or two of Ft Lewis style (military) insulated boots (both may be Danner) size 11.5 that no longer fit. Free to a good home at the GGG.

I'm sure I have some other stuff I'll post later.

What I'll have for sale (will update this post with additions):

Brooks Cascadia 8 trail runners, size 11, blue/grey. Worn for about 10mi of trail, still in excellent condition.

Edit: Ah, Link beat me to the GGG info :)

Or he could just read my post above and click on the hyper link instead of doing a search

windshirts on 01/10/2014 08:08:33 MST Print View

Been thinking about adding a breathable wind shirt/running jacket so if anyone has an older Houdini, Rab Cirrus or the like, in Med, I'd love to take a look. I heat up fast when moving and want something very breathable, so am not interested in all the "wind PROOF" jackets out there for $100-150. Still building my gear list so don't have anything UL to sell, and all my decent non-UL stuff went to others on GearSwap or GearTrade in the last 6 mths.

Its a silly little thing, but I'll bring hundreds of mini-ziplocs (~1"x1") I have. Great for little things in first aid, ditty bag or cook kit and hard to buy less than 50 at a store.

I collect stoves and have a few extras, be nice to thin my overage. Cash, prices for GGG only. If anyone is interested in:
1. New (1999) MSR Dragonfly and new pump. $80
2. Used, clean MSR FireFly, yeller pump, good condition, original windscreen. $65
3. MSR Micro Rocket with sparker thing and plastic carrier. Used 1-2 times. $35
4. Jimmy Lewis 2 part, silent cap for MSR Dragonfly, used only in tests. $60
I'll be bringing my DF with the BD Dragontamer cap if you want to see it and the JL cap compared.
The DF stoves simmer very nicely. The FF burns very hot, but loud, great for cooking with larger pots or pasta. The MR has a concentrated flame pattern and is also very loud. I think I'd prefer a PR again.

email me if interested by the afternoon of the 19 as I leave at 0:dark thirty to work on Monday, otherwise I will not bring them. I plan on leaving GGG mid morning or earlier that Sunday as it is about a 5 hour drive home or to work. I can pack a few of these in to camp, if they are wanted.

If I can make this, depending on the family emergency, I have a couple PIF alky stoves that were given to me when I picked up a spare TD 12-10 stove.

Katharina,

Sent you a PM about the Montbell sleeping bag. May want to buy it for the kids if it's a ULSS.
