1.4mm diameter spaghetti go to 50 minute,1.6mm diametetr spaghetti go to 120 minute

Spaghetti 100gr boil 2minute with 300ml hot water,I expect so much.

Now,it is booming in Japan :-)

Hi Yukio, good to hear from you again.
Spaghetti is popular in Japan? I thought you only ate rice and noodles ;-)
Instead of soaking the spaghetti in cold water for a long time, you can boil for 1 minute then switch the stove off and leave the spaghetti in the hot water for 10-15 minutes. Wrap the pot in insulation to keep it hot.

We do the same (add boiling water and let soak) with off-the-shelf tortellini -

tortellini


We add dried vegies and top with Newman's Own single-serving Classic or Ceasar -

NewmansClassic

...and parmesean.
