"but I chose what I eat."

And how much. Restraint and discipline are fast becoming alien concepts in this instant gratification society. I WANT it, a LOT of it, and I WANT it NOW!!! ;0)

The predictable result is, as you said, statistics.

"and there's a slot with Soylent Green coming out of it"

Presumably also a large intake port to the Soylent Green processor, with a trap door located on the seat of the exercise machine. Go below your recommended heart rate and.......

I can tell you when I actually gained weight as an adult - in my teens I starved myself and smoked like crazy. Hey, I was hot looking though ;-) In college and beyond I didn't have a car. I walked or biked everywhere. The first year I had a car I put on at least 20 pounds. Suddenly I could go anywhere I wanted and it was soooo easy. I quit smoking and starving myself. And kept driving.

It really comes down the car. The car was my best friend and my worst friend.

Oh yeah, and basically I like eating.

Lol...come on, I ain't going to deny that!
