Just thought this would brighten people's day. My son just got back to the US from being deployed in Afghanistan for 9 months, drove 17 hours straight from Twenty-nine Palms USMC base, California to Eugene, Oregon just to surprise his mom at 5 am. This is a quick video my daughter took of his mom's reaction:

Sure brightened mine. Let's bring 'em all home and put the mothers of the world in charge of things. Maybe then, there won't be any more Afghanistans and a different kind of tears.
