Homebrew, bacon & beer milkshakes, and chillin', all that's good in America..... on 10/25/2013 09:41:21 MDT Print View

A bacon infused beer milkshake, from http://foodbeast.com/2013/10/19/bacon-infused-beer-milkshake-is/#5TKistOoM0SoSLIp.99

"A collaboration between Levy’s Restaurants and the Texas Motor Speedway, this epic milkshake is made up of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, Rahr & Sons Ugly Pug Black Lager, bacon-infused maple syrup, whipped cream and forgoes the traditional maraschino cherry topper in favor of a bacon garnish. It also comes in a souvenir cup so you can hold fast to your bacon milkshake memories."

Brewbot is capable of “memorizing” a variety of different beer recipes, both provided by Cargo and user-uploaded. From those recipes, the machine then knows “how much water, how to heat it, pulls all the sugars, all very accurately depending on the beer,” says Chris McClelland, Co-Founder of Cargo.

And lastly, a 'reverse microwave' that can chill a room temperature beer in less than a minute, from http://foodbeast.com/2013/10/24/v-tex-reverse-microwave/

"A product of Enviro-Cool Limited, V-Tex is an environmentally-friendly, efficient system that cools beverages in a matter of seconds. From wine bottles to soda cans, the unit is able to chill drinks in all types of containers without disturbing carbonation. How? V-Tex uses a “start stop rotational sequence” to create a Rankine vortex, which essentially keeps a drink in its original state while quickly bringing down the temperature."

Is this a great country or what!

Sounds like a disaster.

On a similar note, I made the mistake of trying the bacon-flavored lube you once recommended. As it turns out, not everything is better with bacon.
