FS: Western Mountaineering Apache Super DL***SOLD*** on 10/16/2013 21:23:31 MDT Print View

A 15 degree down bag sized for 6ft, purple (they all are), full down draft tube over full length zipper, no snags, tears, holes of any kind. Very good condition.
This bag is a few years old, meticulously cared for, never stored stuffed, has a full 6" loft just like brand new. If you aren't sure what it is, it's not what you're looking for.
Asking $195.00
Thanks.
Will post pics a little later.

Interested. You have no PM setup so please advise how to contact. Trying to figure out which version this is -- do you know fill type or overall weight or what year it is from ? Thanks

Mark,
Sorry about that. I didn't know I had to set up the PM. I'll be glad to take email and answer any questions you have about this bag. The DL version stands for "DryLoft". It is essentially a Gore product which was used in making this bag almost water proof yet breathes remarkably well. I have slept out in a pretty heavy snow without a bivy or tarp and had no issues except putting my jacket over my face. I think the fill is 800, but it may be 750. I measured the loft and I can detect no loss at all. This bag has an athletic cut and is very efficient. With overstuffed draft tube and collar and the DL membrane, a lot of people push the limits of this bag into winter. The weight I think is 2lb 6oz. I bought it new in 1997 in Montana. It looks new today. Down stays in the bag, never stored stuffed. Probably has about 20-30 nights use. I'm just lightening the load around the house here. I've collected a lot of stuff over the years.

ps: I'll check into setting up that PM stuff :)
