Wanted: Winter Sleeping Bag! on 08/20/2013 06:38:33 MDT Print View

I'm looking for a winter sleeping bag with a long length.

Needs to be 10 degrees, or warmer. Must have a hood.

I'm thinking something like a Marmot Helium, or similar. Open to many other brands. Let me know what you have.

My email is blowing up with responses to this. Keep them coming. However,
I'm looking for something high end like WM, Feathered Friends, etc.

No Northface/Sierra Designs.

sorry, it needs to be a long.
I'm 6'3" and use whatever extra room is in there for my boots at night.

If you use today's extra 35% off/free shipping coupon from Sierra Trading Post, you can get a long zero degree bag for $243. 800 fill power, 3 lbs 2 oz makes for a pretty good deal:

I have a North Face Snowshoe (0 degrees) purchased new in 2004, size L. It has never been used, just stored loosely. I'd sell for $85 shipped to Conus. If interested, email me at

If you're still looking, I have a Mountain Hardware Phantom winter bag that I no longer use. I think it's -5 rated. It's a long and includes the zip-in girth extender that makes for roomy sleeping at basecamp. It also has a Gore Dryloft liner and is awesome for winter camping. 800 FP down and in great condition. It's about 6 years old and only used a couple times per season. $220 shipped.
