I bought this pack 3 years ago and used it on some of my first backpacking trips. In the process of planning for my JMT trip a couple summers ago I thought I could save some money by trimming my Gregory pack down instead of buying a lighter pack. I took the scissors to it and cut off everything I thought I could do without...but it still weighed too much. So I bought a Circuit and never looked back.

Now I have this Gregory pack that I love but I'll never use again. I'm also in the process of downsizing and I'm trying to either sell or give away anything I'm not using on a consistent basis. So it's time for this pack to go. I don't know if anyone will actually want this since it's been "trimmed" so much but I thought I would offer it here first. Since it's been awhile since I used this pack I don't remember everything I cut off but this is what I can see that's obvious: left hip pocket, right side water bottle pocket, top lid (though I might still have this), water bladder holder (I might still have this as well), straps trimmed.

If you're interested, email me at erikdtz@gmail.com and we can arrange a way for you to get it.

Glad it went to someone who will not re-sell it and take advantage of someone's generosity, is all (knew you'd pop up on this free thread sooner or later)

Cut anything you could to save weight? But you forgot about the 3 foot long hip buckle straps.
Not the norm around here but awesome packs, lugged 50+ lbs in one of these over 300 miles once, hope it went to a good home someone got a bomber pack.

I agree, I could have cut the hip belt straps some but I'm a big guy so I don't know if it would have been worth the effort. Anyways, I'm glad it's going to somebody that will put it to some use. It's been sitting in my closet for too long now.
