Gossamer Gear: July 4th Backpack Sale on 07/04/2013 19:52:28 MDT Print View

Hey All,

It looks like Gossamer Gear (disclaimer: trail ambassador) has put a bunch of things up for sale for the holiday.

Including two of their backpacks:

Actually, if you look up to the top of GG site, you'll see:

"10% off all items in stock during the Holiday Weekend. Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July! — Thank You — GG staff"

Everything is on sale. You won't see the discount for the other backpacks till you click through as there are per item prices. Oddly, this doesn't seem to be reflected in the Kumo.

+1 for myself... I tried adding a whole bunch of things to my shopping cart and none of them showed the 10% discount. I went all the way through the payment page until the very final "pay" button, and nothing indicated a 10% discount on everything. Maybe they are issuing a refund post-payment??

Maybe their website admin is on vacation?

love the "price spec" on 07/05/2013 08:22:27 MDT Print View

I hate sites that do this. They say the price starts at $27 for a pack but then you look and its just a hipbelt. I know I wont get a backpack for $27 but I hate when companies do this.

Carrying just a hipbelt on 07/05/2013 12:49:59 MDT Print View

Maybe it starts at $27 for a hipbelt because some people have their gear weights and volumes down so low that all they need are the zippered pockets.
