true enough, tht is a disgusting experieince.
more : if ou go farther and farther afield, you will/may arrive at a place where there in remote possibility that anybody is upstream. possibly for ever and ever, if not several decades. the water is a clean s water (ebing quite the solvent that it is) is going to get.
there will, on occasion, be scummy bubbles.

i suspect thaty are either organic in nature, or come down from above in rain.
no xhit about that "from above" . any ocean ice you can find , in the spring, when it's emlting out, will have puddles, and in those puddles will be a slimy layer of ash. ohh yeah. it's there.

Lock Levan lakes: two young CUTIES standing in the lake (just recently ripe they were), washing their hair.
i stood there and, well ... SHE (my lady) called it staring, but i the clever one, spun it into "glaring" at them for being so un-green.
there are times i am practically a saint.
