Goin' for the V2 eh?
It's a sickness, I tell you. :)
is this? I struggle with carrying my camera and pack, with it banging, etc...if this is that good and secures the camera well, I'm interested.
I've mounted my DSLR on my backpack strap and on my belt as well. At first, I was concerned that it wouldn't hold but after using it and running around, I can say the camera won't just fall off. You need to depress a button AND slide the camera up off the base in order to remove it. Peak Design has a Youtube video:Tips For Wearing Capture On Your Backpack
I have one of these as well and it is very secure. Only catch is to make sure you get it in the clip before you stop holding the camera, did not do that once and managed to drop it but that is my own fault and not the fault of the clip as i was not paying attention.I like mine enough that i am getting one of the new V2's to go along with it
I have been using one since it was first released. It is very secure, but can get a little awkward if your equipment is too long or heavy (a 70-200 f4 is probably about the limit of what I find comfortable). I wear it on my left shoulder strap and find it very convenient. The clip is small and I worry about missing it and dropping my camera so I usually wear a neck strap for safety. This is purely my paranoia about breaking a couple thousand dollars worth of equipment. If it is clipped in then it is very secure and I have no worries about it failing.
Do you still have this? I'm interested, but I would need it delivered NLT 2 August...
Yes I have it and can ship on Monday via USPS Priority. Mike
I'll take it. Can you send me a PM with your PayPal email? I'll send over funds as soon as I get it. Cheers,Doug
