Vireo question on 06/03/2013 13:52:11 MDT Print View

Hi, I'm interested in the Vireo but am curious about what size you are and how it fits. I'm 6'1" and 225#s I am unsure about how well it might fit.
Thanks
James

Hi James,

I'm 5'10'' and 155lbs. I have a slender upper body and big ol' runners thighs. I fit with room, but with you, I'm pretty sure you'll feel constricted around the hips. Also your feet will touch (maybe not compress?) the inside of the footbox. I think it's meant for people less than 6ft. Thanks.

Mike

Mike,
Thanks for your honesty. I appreciate that. I'll continue to keeps my eyes open for a different sized Vireo.
Thanks,
James

Vireo on 06/15/2013 20:58:56 MDT Print View

James,

I have custom Vireo, with 5oz of overfill added to the top half. I am 6'0" and 210 lbs. I went with the size long (74") and love the bag. Still enough room in the top half to add a down layer.
