The 2014 PCT Thru hike will be my first serious hike.
At the time, I will be 32, Male, 220 LBS, 6'2"
I'm curious how often I should plan to resupply, and if anyone has a calorie suggestion for my age/weight/distance travelling.
I don't know anything about packing food for a long distance hike, so I've got a lot to learn.
Are there any complete food guides / lists for a PCT thru hike? I think that would be a long list... ;-)
100+ calories per oz? (28g) for best food to weight ratio?
I prefer to cook as little as possible, at most I really just want to boil water.
I have no special food requirements.
