FS: Bushbuddy Titanium stove - $70 on 04/29/2013 14:39:09 MDT Print View

Hey all,

I bought a Ti bushbuddy a few years ago and still haven't used it. I fired it up in my yard a couple of time but haven't taken it on a trip, so I'm going to part with it.

$70 plus shipping.

Just a Fyi:
The standard commercial Bushbuddys are not made from titanium ... they are made from stainless sheet metal.

It is a great wood stove regardless.

thanks for the insight on 04/29/2013 23:06:30 MDT Print View

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I did not realize that and it is a bummer. Nearly half-off the titanium version was just too good to be true for BPL gear swap. I'm still pretty happy with the purchase though as I wasn't planning on using it for anything too weight intensive.

It is still a great deal, and 5.1 oz (listed wgt for the Ultra model) is also good because theoretically you don't have to carry any fuel (although I find myself picking up the "perfect" tender and/or kindling when I pass it on the way to my camp destination ... YMMV)
