Wanted: lid to fit Evernew 800ml kettle on 04/23/2013 10:46:42 MDT Print View

I bought this pot used off swap and it came without a lid. Looking for one to fit, whether it is stock or not. Inside diameter of rim is roughly 4 3/8 inches.

Lid to Fit Evernew 800ml Kettle: a SP900 lid will fit. on 04/23/2013 11:40:52 MDT Print View

This is my favorite pot.

The SP900 (Snow Peak) Ti lid from Four Dog Stoves fits great.
... and the Mini-Bull Design aluminum SP900 lid fits as well too.

I have both lids and they both fit my Evernew 800 ml kettle (ECA318)

Tony, thanks so much for this info. I'll give this ad or day or two and if no one bites, I will buy a lid. Thanks!

FYI: SP 900 fry pan lid does not fit an Evernew 800 ml kettle. on 04/24/2013 00:20:55 MDT Print View

The SP900 fry pan lid does not fit an Evernew 800 ml kettle, as the fry pan lid is designed to fit on the O.D. of the pot ... comparing the dimensions looks close enough but the Evernew 800 ml kettle O.D. does not scribe a round circle because of the pour spout sticking out.

... a SP900 lid that fits the I.D. of the pot can be successfully used.

I've not tried it. It works great as a lid on my 1L evernew pot that also has a spout.

Ymmv

SP900 Fry Pan Lid on 04/24/2013 16:56:36 MDT Print View

The Kettle (ECA318) has an inner diameter of 4.88" (according to Evernew's site)

The SP fry pan lid has an inner diameter of 5" (according to Snowpeak's site)

The Evernew's 1 liter pasta pot (ECA 522) has an inner diameter of 4.65" (according to Evernew's site)

yup, YMMV

If we are basing on specs, wouldn't you want the outside diameter of the pots? Also, the 5" for the pan is at the widest spot, it tapers down to the bottom of the pan.
