Bought this in 2010 for a Montana trip and it worked great. Hasn't seen much use since then (a bit warm for even the coldest days in Austin). Made of Polartec Powershield which is quite windproof, with some light insulation. DWR fabric surface beads up light rain like a champ, and it breathes pretty good! Size medium, 40" chest, 34" sleeves.

Things I like about it:
Gusseted arms, so the hem doesn't lift when you raise your arms.
No seams where the pack straps go over the shoulders.
Pockets are high so they don't interfere with the hip belt.
Soft collar lining.
Drawstring hem.
Warm!
Looks great off the trail.

Things I don't like about it:
Too warm for Texas.
Weighs 19oz.

If I spent more time in snow I'd keep it. However, I have a baby on the way and it will probably be a few years before I need something like this again. I'd rather have some cash now and maybe help someone out a bit.

You can see an identical 2013 version here.

PM me your best offer, or post up any questions.
Thanks, Daniel

Jumped the gun a bit on that one...

Re: FS: What is the price? on 04/15/2013 15:31:59 MDT Print View

I don't see that you have a price listed.

This is too small for me, but I could buy it for someone else; so a reasonable offer would be around $18, because it won't fit me and I don't need it .

Of course if this was eBay I would start out with $1 ($18 is as high as I will go right now).

Reasonable offers.... on 04/15/2013 15:46:33 MDT Print View

Well, for $18 I'd probably just keep it. I'm just looking to raise some money to help pay for my baby boy on the way. It was $250 new. It's not new anymore, so cut that in half for a starting point of $125. With haggling, anywhere between $100 and $150 would leave both parties feeling like a good bargain was struck.

Hope that helps clarify the price.

Or trade for tarp? on 04/18/2013 10:00:16 MDT Print View

Would also trade for a great square tarp, Cuben or SylNylon.

One last try to cash out my jacket. Otherwise, it goes in the back of the closet and I'll try again in the fall. Thanks for reading!

You might try eBay or GearTrade- stuff that's not ultralight seems to have a hard time selling here, but does well on those sites. It's a fine jacket. :)
