Anyone have any good suggestions? I could just purchase a new sea to summit from REI for $9.95, but thought I'd try here first.

Try Petersheadnets.com. Peter Vacco. Interesting guy. Makes them himself. Not just a cylindrical tube, they are made to drape over your hat. It'll cost ya about 15 bucks, but it's not often somebody will send you the goods and wait for your check.

I have the full-sized net with the heavier duty crown, it weighs 18 grams on my scale. Nice mesh, easy to see thru. It's not bug season here in Idaho yet, but I expect it will come in handy. I bought it based on a couple of recommendations here on BPL.

I agree with Petersheadnets.com. I love mine and it is nice to know you are getting a quality item as opposed to something mass produced.
