WTT: Osprey Exos 58 for large volume internal frame pack on 03/21/2013 09:26:54 MDT Print View

*Disclosure. I'm posting this pack trade for my good friend. He was brought on as an intern this summer, position starting in May, as a member of a research group in Kodiak, AK. He'll be out for 10- day intervals in the field and they're required to carry all necessary gear for the stretch. Among the items he needs is a large volume pack (80-100L), so his lightweight Exos isn't going to cut it.

Looking to trade for a good pack.

Pack requirements:

Large volume (90-100L)
Internal frame
adjustable torso would be ideal, but not necessary. (Small torso if non-adjustable)
Size small waist
Good condition

What you're trading for:

Osprey Exos 55L- size Small, purchased new late 2012. Used once. In AS NEW condition.Ospreyback

I have an Osprey Aether 70 with a removable/replacable medium hip belt. I don't know how Osprey does their volume measurements but this thing seems outrageously big, replete with pockets and a brain.

Used once before I got my weight down. Great shape.

Hey Chris,

I'll shoot Clifton an email and see what he thinks on the size. The 90-100 liters seems ridiculous, but apparently it's what he needs.

No worries Eugene.

I'm laughing cause I was almost too embarrased to even admit I had this beast in my gear closet. LOL. Oh, the shame!

Just hit me with a PM if it fits his bill, otherwise good luck.

PS: I suck at posting links but there was a guy listing a 90L Kelty on here not too long ago. It stuck out in my mind because of the size.

Rei outlet has some big packs. I have a 20 percent off one item coupon for Rei outlet I'd gladly contribute.

Hi! I have one for sale. It's a good pack, and I'm happy to trade, but the Exos is worth a little more. You should talk to me about offsetting the price difference.

I have a 32 waist and the pack cinches fine, it could go tighter. The shoulder straps are adjustable.

I have a size large, with large hip belt, Aether 85, I would consider trading as well...let me know if he's interested.
