The food storage containers with locking tabs and silicone seals like the ones made by Lock N Lock are a lighter, less expensive alternative to the heavy and expensive Pelican cases. I won't buy you a new device if you want full immersion protection, but I think they are very adequate for rain, dust and bump protection. Add some mini bubble wrap or one of the neoprene camera equipment camera wraps will help with bumps. The round ones made for pasta rock for lens cases.
