Oh well. If you don't think spelt's tactic will improve my general safety, I guess I'll go back to my regular set-up below. What could possibly go wrong?

I'm 68 years old. Woman in the video looks like a young cougar to me.

Pretty rare photos. I've never seen a cougar let alone young ones in a situation like that.
