Trekking poles and new FAA rules on 03/06/2013 17:33:50 MST Print View

I heard on the news that ski poles along short bladed knives will be allowed as carry-on items starting in April. Since trekking poles are basically modified ski poles I am assuming they will fall under the new rules. It should make traveling easier to for us. Has anyone been able to confirm the trekking poles?
