How do i change the time zone? on 03/05/2013 17:39:01 MST Print View

The time stamps on everything is off from my time zone. Can this be changed so it matches my current time?

Time is set to BPL HQ time in Bozeman MT.

As a resident of that time zone, I've lost count of the number of missed conference calls with colleagues who don't know we're not on Pacific or Central Time. Kinda refreshing to visit a site that knows what time it is :-)

Then there was the company my ex-husband worked for whose HQ was in New Jersey. West Coast employees and their families got awfully tired of phone calls from the boss at 5 am!!

Not being paid for 5 am - that's overtime rates.
Disconnect the phone outside office hours, or turn the sound off. We do.

Unfortunately, the employees involved were professionals--i.e., "exempt" from the wage-hour laws in the US.

Most of us in that category routinely work 60-70 hour weeks. I'm so glad I'm retired!
