What about baby power on a fly for long term storage?

Common house flies? Fishing fly? Tent fly? Yes, you must mean a tent fly.

Should be fine, but I would use talcum powder so there is no odor.

Why? If it is getting sticky the PU coating is breaking down. Don't store your tent wet of course. But don't store it where it gets too hot. Like the garage, attic, trunk of the car. Baby powder has an odor. Do you want to introduce more possibly interesting smells into the backcountry?

Thank you Steve! Just curious.
