So i spend around $6000 a year on smokes. Smokes are expensive in the UK.
At 50 years old, would i be better investing that 6000 for the next 15 years, or just hope i die before my lungs give in?

Well... if you had invested $6K a year in just the last 15 years -- assuming stock market up's and down's averaging to 4% growth a year for the period -- you would have accumulated a cool $122,544.

From the perspective of someone who watched his father, a life long smoker, die slowly and agonizingly, put the money into a retirement plan and hope you're not already a dead man walking. Besides, 6000 should still buy a fair number of pints
to help with the withdrawal. ;0)

That all depends. Do the really hot Scottish women like men who smoke, or do they tend to stay away from men who smoke? That'd be the deciding factor for me....

Two different things. You can change your "name" yourself, and the change is instant, by editing your name/address under your account. You're at the mercy of BPL if you want your nickname changed.
