Grid Fleece Balaclava (Patagucci R1 Material) - $6.90 on 02/26/2013 14:37:54 MST Print View

So I ordered one of these and they are quite nice. Same weight grid fleece patagonia uses (just like polartec makes). Black and Beige available.
I'm going to modify it to make it a little more all-purpose, but definitely a steal at under $7.

No affiliation.

.

XXXXXXXX ebay reference deleted. (Sorry Roger, I didn't realize this rule applied to "Gear Deals" section)

Anyone interested just type (or copy/paste) "Gen 3 Level 2 Balaclava" into google or your preferred search engine.

Dan, thanks for posting this.

But you need to stop posting stuff that I think I need to buy, I have more stuff than I can use in 2 life times.

Buy the balaclava and wear it backwards when surfing gear deals. Works like a charm ;)

It is a one size fits most, which is generally a big fib when considering my XXL noggin size.

The miltary gridded Polartec stuff is a great buy. The tops can be a super bargain.

Indeed!

Dale's rules of acquisition:

*Don't create another garage sale

*Imagine what you will look like wearing it (aka, The Sunday Afternoon Hat Principle)

*Exact duplicates are not allowed (TP and fuel excepted)

*Similar designs with the same purpose are not allowed

*Let it be a really cool thing -- in the other guy's basement

*If all the above fail, one item must go for every new one purchased

Ah, look at you weak-willed fools. I'd stay to mock you more, but I've gotta go order a tarp I've been wanting.

let's see ... just last week I packed away three fleece balaclavas (and numerous other fleeces) that I'd treated with nikwax polar proof.

Why am I feeling fleeced?

We're trying to enforce a rule that nothing enters the house unless material of equal or greater volume leaves (food excepted). Let's see, what do I have of volume similar to the carbon fiber pole set that arrived today? Oops, I did it again!

I suggest that we have a virtual twelve step meetup at 00:00:00 UTC on April 1 (every year) and say in unison ... "Hello, my name is _________ and I am a gearhead!"

If you are going to get a ridiculously good deal you should purchase two. Just in case you end up not using it a friend to keep the other company is the right thing to do. 2 purchased sigh......
