I came to the realization in my life, that for now, hot cars are a thing of my past.

A great sound system and 3 TV screens were legal, where as ball n' gags for my 3 kids were not. And the speakers mean I can blast my music and tune them out. Don't overlook hands free for mobile phones if you live where using a handset is illegal. It is worth the $$ and should be standard on all new vehicles.....I have had it in my last 2 vehicles.

Lol.....I'll just spend their inheritance in 10 years on a cool car once again ;-)

I know you want to tempt me with Italian style Franco, but a better bet would be the Alfa.

My kids left home long ago.
Sometimes it's good to scare yourself whilst driving. Similar to backpacking over scary terrain. :-)

You sure you shouldn't test drive one of these, Mike?

Maybe I should let you know that I cannot drive a car.
not just the legal bit, it's the turning of the steering wheel and possible simultaneous use of pedals that gets me.
I am not one of those multitasking types.

"possible simultaneous use" ?

Sadly that is a current requirement. Although you would never know it where I drive.

If you're willing to wait a few years and spend just a couple of dollars more, you get the Acura NSX:

Lol...what? You can't drive a car while shifting, smoking AND holding a Super Gulp between your thighs - and steering with your knees?

Had a friend who drove like that. She was a school bus driver. Her driving was....ummmmm.....how the hell she had a CDL was beyond me!

I know a guy that can drive fast over twisty country roads, whilst wearing fishing waders, and roll a smoke at the same time. :-)
In a manual gear shift car.

Sorry Franco, but I just can't think of a Fiat as a quality car. Too many memories of the 70s.

I know a guy who can drive fast over twisty country roads, whilst wearing fishnet stockings, and assemble an ice bandage at the same time, in a manual gear shift car.

I told him to stay out of that redneck bar.....

BTW, I really do not drive ...
"but I just can't think of a Fiat as a quality car. Too many memories of the 70s.'

Yes and I can't think of a Japanese camera as a quality camera , too many bad memories of the 40's...

Anyway . I would not buy a car based on my own suggestions given that cars have almost zero appeal to me.
I was adding a possible alternative , just for fun.

I just sold my dark silver cooper S...black top and black stripes...so sad...

My bike is my ride now, but wow did I love that cooper!! Got me in a bit of trouble here in Chicago, tho..........who knew you could pass a city bus on a residential street at 70mph in one block??

And yes, it was a manual transmission. Automatics are for sissies.

I hate driving in Chicago. I'd rather give myself an enema with a cactus.

And 70mph on a city block? Most of the time traffic is moving at 0.6 mph!

Fun city to take the train to, but driving in it is another story.
