Well, I suppose it opens up a lot of opportunities for pre-trip scouting. Still, it might take a bit out of the joy of first discovery -- on "famous" trails. I doubt they'll get every trail out there, and even if they did, there's always cross country routes.

I just hope they don't do the JMT before I get a chance to do it.
