Where do you guys go hiking in Russia? In the short time that I was there I saw tons and tons of potential for awesome bushwhacking and backpacking. Suzdal had lots of gorgeous countryside around it and we passed some awesome landscapes on the 10-hour train ride from Vladimir to St. Petersburg.

edit: Also just wanted to say that your country and people are awesome. I had tons of great experiences with random strangers I met on trains, in bars, or in hostels!

its easy to go, by train from st.Pitersburg to Apatiti. or airplane to Murmansk and taxi to Apatiti. and 1-2 miles by your own legs.=))
