Does it look like I'm planning a thru-hike at all?

are you by any chance?

i love pringles, i usually smash them up and put them in a plastic bag for on the trail to eliminate the space and weight of the carboard tube.

Yes, I'm hiking the PNT starting in June. I'll be putting a couple of these in each of my mail drops for the immediate thrill of consumption upon opening each box of food.

Don't discard those tubes. They are great for carrying a sleeve of Ritz crackers. Pringles may be OK all broken up, but Ritz aren't - unless you're breading something, which hikers don't usually do.

They are also a perfect size for holding those small single-serve cans (gasp!) of tuna salad or deviled ham, especially when empty.
