I finished a trek on Oahu that took years of training and one failed attempt. Finally successful after 8 days on April 1, 2012. Doing it following the ul philosophy was the only way.

That is an amazing adventure! I was blown away by the pictures and the story and will definitely be going back to re-read it. You sir have a good story and serious dedication.
