Happy new year everyone!
To help warm up for the winter season I've decided to hike up Yosemite falls this weekend. Starting at the valley floor and climbing up to upper falls, then the next night day hiking to eagle peak.
Anyone been up there recently and have any tips? Chains required for the roads?
I'm assuming snowshoes and crampons will be necessary.

But of course, that depends on exposure. This trail faces south, so it should be clear well above that.
