I'm looking for anybody interested in hiking the Weminuche this summer - primarily 3-day weekend trips. I tend to hike 10-15 mile days and am hoping to visit as many off-trail lakes as possible. I'm more into lake bagging than peak bagging. I live in Dolores and basically plan on spending as many weekends as possible exploring the Weminuche this summer. While I enjoy solo backpacking quite a bit, it would be cool to meet some locals who share my obsession for wilderness backpacking.

Any takers?
