BUMP anyone interested?
I'm trying to decide between the Meta 1, Shangrila-1, and the Fly Creek 1. What's the actual weight of the Meta? Thanks,Kevin
1 lb 15oz for the whole tent. no tent poles as you can use sticks or trekking poles. stakes and heavy although stuff sac weigh extra.

Mine weighed 2lbs, 8oz packed on the nose.
Yep, 40oz packed. I have had a Nemo Meta 1p for 2 years now and it's my shelter for shorter trips where weight isn't a premium. The tent is outstanding. The key is guying out the ends and guying out the back at an upward angle to ensure a taught pitch.
So the bags and stakes weight 9oz? Crazy...
the bag is overbuilt with a large webbing piece. it's also watertight and serves as a compression sac with synching buckles on each side. 4oz for 8 standard dac stakes. oh, there is also an overbuilt stake stuff sac. all included of course. this thing is new in box never opened up or pitched.
