The prior post provided a link to download a GPX file directly to your GPS or smartphone with geocaching app. Here is a link to a pdf file with photos and coordinates of each geocache. The photos might come in handy - even if you have the locations already downloaded. They make it easier to search in the right spot once you reach the location.Have fun out there!Manfred
What are your plans for next weekend? You could spend it with us. Some spots left. Read the first post for all the latest information.
Will be bringing my 12 year old daughter. Hopefully, she will want to participate.
Looks like it might rain a little.
That would be pretty nice if it did rain. I hope everyone is excited. Anyone already packed.??
It wouldn't be a GGG without some sort of precipitation. But we have that cool rain gear.
I just noticed that all 7 kids who got signed up so far (ages 9, 9, 11, 11, 12, 12 , 14) are girls. That is quite a coincidence. Is anyone bringing boys to Henry Coe?Manfred
@ Frank. I've been packing stuff up all day today!Next weekend!!
I am all packed up for the Mississippi Lake Loop and the GGG. The weather seems to be a little unpredictable but pretty common this time of year at Henry Coe.
Bicycles are allowed at Coe. Is no one going to ride in?
Is it still possible to come? It's right around the corner.
PM sent to Kevin
Remember I hit the road Thurs. morning and will be unavailable for comments and answers. I know that there will be posts and PMs come Saturday even. So sad too bad.. Every year has been the same.
Thanks again Manfred! We downloaded the Gaia geocaching app for our smartphone and printed out the map of the route and photos of the cache points.
James, great to hear that these resources are useful for you. Now that you have the geocache locations printed, you can of course enter them manually into Gaia GPS. I suggest you import the GPX file I made available in one of the prior messages. That way you get also the 16 official geocaches in addition to our 14 special geocaches. That will allow you to look already for some of the official geocaches on your way in to camp. You also get the breadcrumb trail (track) you can follow around the course. Here are the instructions how to import a GPX file into Gaia GPS for Android and iPhone That should save quite some time and make it fun from the beginning without a delay for entering coordinates manually.Best Regards,Manfred
Finally you can stop hearing about it and live it instead. Looks like another nice group of people. Quite a few of you have been more than once. Thanks for making it what is has become.@ Manfred. At least three more boys coming. But still more girls. If you are still on the fence about coming or not. The time is now. I need a rough count before I take off. For the park staff. Carpool if you can. @ Campers Please park in the overflow lot and keep the HQ lot open for day visitors

I am happy to say we are a capacity crowd this weekend. Thanks to all who RSVP and pre-paid. Everyone is welcome to come out just for the day as well. Excited!
How many does that make, Ken?
