I followed your links and sure enough, the deal worked. I appreciate the help. REI has these at $165, but with the conversion from NZ dollars, I just spent $112.03 with shipping.

As far as I can tell, these are the cheapest on the planet!! It's not often you can make that call, and it makes it far easier to justify to your wife.
