SOLD to R. A ZPacks Cuben, hex shaped, hammock tarp, spec weight is 6.5 oz. The fabric is the light green, not the current olive color, and the ridgeline is sewn then taped. Retail is $249, this one is $185 with free shipping to US and Canada.


SOLD and shipped to RA aka FW Next is a Zpacks Cuben 8x10 rectangle, olive color, spec weight is 6.7 oz. for 8.5x10, so this one is slightly lighter. Retail is $255, this one is also $185 with free shipping to US and Canada.


SOLD to R. This like new, size M/L, Zpacks hooded rain jacket is made of the strong 1 oz per yard, completely waterproof, translucent black, Cuben fabric, not the current waterproof breathable fabric. It has a waterproof zipper, pit zips, and weighs 114 grams, 4.05 oz on my scale. No longer in production as the current model has a WPB fabric. The price is $97 with free shipping to US and Canada.

The hex tarp ridge line was sewn then taped. The tape had the right glue on it for cuben. It is so flat that pressure was used, I'm guessing a hard rubber roller.

The 8x10 ridgeline was sewn then received a professional (smooth, thin, and even) coat of seam sealer. You could tape on the other side that does not have the seam sealer on it.

No where on either of these tarps is there any evidence of bonding of cuben to cuben, using primer then free flowing glue then pressure. There are no seams that were not sewn. Only the ridge lines received the two different methods of sealing.
