What are some effective ways to pack honey so it doesn't leak and is low-mess to dispense?
The same Coghlan's load-your-own squeeze tubes used for jam and peanut butter.Runner's energy gel flasks would work well too.
Two ways:Honey packets and honey powder. Both are readily out there :-)
Any random squeeze tube you can find with a decent cap.
I'm in the mood.Powdered honey ? Is it legal ???never seen the stuff, not that I ever looked for it, but how does it taste ?Do you add water to it ?
I get the honey powder from Packit Gourmet to use in tea, so just pour the powder in the tea. No mess involved.
Hehe! Just shake it on :-) It is similar to maple syrup powder (or maple sugar). You can add water, but I don't. I just add dry and mix it in :-)Out here I can find it at Asian grocery stores (although it is US made!) and at natural food stores - and yes, Packit sells it.
Maple syrup powder (!!!) no wonder you have cheese in tubes.OK, I'll have a look for honey powder, not very confident that it exists around here.(thanks James for asking...)

Out of all places, I find a great soft bottle with safety cap from an Australian online cigarette shop.http://ecigmodshop.com.au/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=342...perfek for honey! It is slow to pour, but it works a treat...I use one for when I have an Earl Grey tea!
