I don't have a picture but this is the sign from China"Disorganized Tourists Assemble Here."
Just a bit overdone with the warning...
A better translation:The grass is resting. Please do not disturb.
That's just as humorous.Any great signs that you have found on your recent travels?
Next time you are in REI look in the book section. They have a book full of signs like these from around the world.
"Any great signs that you have found on your recent travels?"Here's one from Hong Kong -- not my pic -- but pretty "amazing" translation -- given 150 friggin' years of British rule! Any questions? :)

The "You Might Die" sign. Two people have died from heat exhaustion since someone stole the sign -- but people were dying on the trail when it was posted -- I guess they couldn't read. And they must have missed the sign below earlier on the trail...
You'd have to know my oldest son's name is well.......
I kept walking....

Backpacking Luckily no information needed here. Work Found this gem in rural Louisiana. All the back roads in this area are named after men who I surmise lived there once upon a time. With a name like that clearly he was a man to remember.
The first one is at the trailhead, the second one was repeated along the trail. Let's see... there are, ummm, don't tell me... I'll guess BEARS here, right?

I admit it's juvenile but this sign cracks me up every time I pass it http://confrontinglove.com/2011/04/01/wondering-where-to-trade-in-your-used-dildo-pic/
This is a reflective sticker on the ashtray in the back seat of a Laotian taxi. Out of focus though, sorry..."Chocolate make the world go pump"What?

Sage advice for some through-hikers with an attitude of entitlement:Something to think about when resupplying in town:And for those starting either the CDT or PCT from the southern terminus:
