Serious post. There are some really serious runners on BLP, maybe someone knows the answer.
10 minutes into a run my ankles start to lockup. I feel them getting tighter and tighter until I cannot bend them. I have to walk like Frankenstein for about 10 minutes until they loosen. I warm up, stretch, ... and no difference. I can start off slow or fast, it does not seem to matter. Pretty depressing. My shoes are gel nimbus, which are pretty soft. I run on the sidewalks. I did try a dirt track, but same problem. I can do p90x plyo with no problem, it just seems to be running.
I am thinking it has something to do with the date on my driver's license. Well, yes, this is a new phenomenon.
I will try a bike ride Thursday and see if they lock. TIA.
