It's hard to tell without the actual details, isn't it? I I mean sure we can point the finger at the bakers union, but without knowing what kind of concessions were being asked, it's hard to tell which party was being unreasonable. Maybe management was asking too much. Maybe the union was refusing a reasonable offer. We don't know for sure. Fox would lead you to believe the unions were being greedy. I'm skeptical until number come to light, if they ever do.
Some companies are dead long before they know it. If Hostess couldn't keep their employees happy, it was probably time for them to close shop.
